2015 Green Valley Pinot Noir
The 2015 growing season created the opportunity to achieve rich tannins and bold acidity in our Pinot Noirs. It was a very small crop with thick skins and small berries. Our ‘15 Pinot Noirs have beautiful color and surprisingly large body for Pinots – yet the tannins are wonderfully smooth. It should be a celebrated vintage for its uniqueness and fantastic wines.
Flavors of ripe bing cherry, baked raspberry, and subtle tropical notes. Coupled with the classic spicy notes – cardamon, nutmeg, and allspice – that come from good Green Valley sites. The big, smooth tannins and full acidity carry this Pinot Noir through from start to finish. It should drink beautifully for the next 5 -7 years.
